We live in an era where many aspects of our lives may overwhelm the efforts in multilateral excellence. Yet, I strongly believe that research is advancing when people with different backgrounds and perspectives exchange scientific ideas and outcomes with peers and colleagues.

The PAN EUROPEAN REGION of the International Association for Dental Research (PER-IADR) will connect the five European Division of IADR: BSODR (British), CED-IADR (Continental European Division), Irish Division, Israeli Division and NOF (Scandinavian Division) by organizing a PER-IADR congress in Marseille, France.

Save already the dates in your agenda: September 10-12, 2020.

Our objective is to provide a larger platform for presentations, discussions & spreading of new scientific information and to improve the cooperation through country borders. We expect to have more than 1200 participants and be the largest multi-disciplinary scientific meeting in Europe organized by the CED-IADR.

It is a great pleasure and honor to organize this event for you. We are putting all possible efforts to make your stay as enjoyable and as rich as possible. Together with the Scientific Committee members, we will put forward a program of two-and-half day parallel-session with oral presentations, posters, keynote and symposium lectures.

The conference will take place at the very gorgeous place “Palais du Pharo”, which is located in the old city quarter of Marseille and has an exceptional view both over the bay and the old harbour of Marseille. Besides, Marseille is a major French centre for trade, and industry with excellent transportation infrastructure (roads, sea port, airport and the famous High speed trains “TGV”). Marseille is also Frances second largest research centre with the large and prestigiousAix Marseille University.

Why not combine science with fun!!!

Marseille is also very famous for its gastronomy and leasure activities. In addition to science, you can enjoy the delicious typical food such as “la Bouillabaisse” and, with the wonderful wheather in September, you can practice sailing, swimming, hiking and climbing in the famous creeks (les Calanques)…

It is therefore with the utmost delight that I invite you to our PER-IADR congress, here in Marseille. Let us work together to improve Oral Health in Europe.
